Creative Commons is a very useful website. You can find many pictures there. All you have to do is type in Creative Commons, and then click this website under the picture. Many people use creative commons for edublogs and it is really fun to use.  You can use creative commons and find any picture that you would like to use in your blog post. I find many things on Creative Commons on my posts.

Hi guys, it’s hmsleilani

I would share shelter with the whole world. Many people have to build there own homes from the things surrounding them because they don’t have shelter. Sometimes if it is raining they have to live with it because they don’t have a roof over their heads, which makes me very sad every time I see it happen. They either use clothing to help or just find a piece of cardboard to put over their heads. The cardboard could start to get wet and could be of no use anymore after that.

Some people have tents that they live in, which can blow away if the wind starts to get strong. Some people would try to find shelter, but some people just stay out in the rain. Especially when it gets to hurricane season. The homeless would have no clue that there will be a hurricane hitting. Sometimes, they find shelter, but it will be very tiny and there will be not much space to sleep or do anything.

Homeless will start to get hungry or starve. Whenever I go out, I see homeless looking through the trash or seeing them just starve to death. If they have food, it won’t last for 3 days. They will eventually run out and start to starve and get food by looking in the trash. Some people have backpacks where they can store their food and sometimes create a sign that says “Hungry and need help” or “I need money for food”.

Hi, it’s hmsleilani this will be my last blog of 6th grade.

What I enjoyed the most about this school year is meeting new people that will come to Hongwanji Mission School, and learning new and exciting things. I loved doing projects, and seeing who is in my group. The projects at HMS are super fun. We got to go on many field trips, and the most memorial one was the challenger mission. We didn’t exactly complete the mission, but it was super fun.

I would change what I did on my projects. I would make things a bit more neater and not rush to complete an assignment. I sometimes have to rush on the project to get it done in time before class ends. I would also redo some of the projects that I did because some of them were a bit too messy. This year has been one of my favorite years so far.

What I am looking forward to next year are meeting new people. I also am looking forward to learning new things, and having new group projects. I can’t wait to go on more fun field trips. Mostly the ones in the beginning of the year where the whole middle school goes camping somewhere. I can’t wait until next year, where we are use to the middle school routine.

Hi, it’s hmsleilani I’m going to tell you guys about end of edublogs.

Part 1:

I did 20 posts, this one is my 21 post. Nine of my blog posts were based on school posts, these were by challenge. I could improve my posts by writing more, and adding more details when adding pictures. I received comments on 3 of my blogs. I received the same amount of posts. I think this happened because they almost have the same details. I visited and posted on 16 other blogs. I chose them because they are very different and seems very interesting. I enjoyed writing my spring break blog the most because it was very fun and I could look back at what I did during spring break. I change my blog theme because my last one had technical difficulties. I have 1o widgets and they aren’t to many to count. I have no overseas students. I use creative Commons to insert pictures for my posts.

Part 2:

1. Shayla’s first impression was that my colours are very nice and pretty.
2. What captured her attention was “My Best Work” blog.
3. What distracted her was the puppy pictures I had.
4. I could have put my categories more up so people don’t have to scroll down.

Hi, it’s hmsleilani and I am here to teach you guys how to make slime.

Slime is really simple and easy to make if you understand how to do it. You need glue, it doesn’t matter what type you use. You can also you clear to. Pour in how much glue you want to put into a bowl. Then if you want to make fluffy slime, put in how much shaving cream you want. Then you get contact saline solution, or any type of eye contact. Once you have mixed in the shaving cream and the glue, slowly add in the saline solution. It will start to activate and once it pulls away from the bowl, or doesn’t stick to your finger as much, your slime is ready. You can add food colouring of your choice. You also can add foam beads, glitter, and others if you want to.
